Turn a poll worker interview into a newsletter feature

Interview one of your poll workers: type their answers below, or add the transcript of a recorded or Zoom interview. Then press Write it to get a newsletter article, a short spotlight for your website or social media, and a Q&A, ready to edit and download for Word, Google Docs or as a PDF.

What happens to the interview. Your answers, transcript and photo stay in this web browser. When you press Write it, the answers and transcript (never the photo) are sent to Claude, an AI, to draft the article. We don't keep them. The Q&A version is made right here, with no AI. Clear removes everything from this browser.

1. Before you start

Print the questions to take to the interview, or to hand to a poll worker to fill in on paper.

2. The interview

Every question is optional. Short answers are fine: the writer works from whatever you have. On an iPad, tap the microphone on the keyboard to talk instead of type.

Have a recording or transcript? Add it here

Add the transcript from Zoom (the .vtt file in the recording's folder), from your phone's Voice Memos (tap the recording, then the transcript, then copy), from Otter, or any text or Word file. Write it fills in the questions below from what was said, then writes the article.

A photo (optional)

The photo stays in this browser. It goes into your downloads, never to the AI.

3. Write it

Claude drafts the article and the spotlight from the interview. It uses only what's in the interview, and you can change every word afterwards.

Keeping your work

This web browser keeps the interview, so it's still here next time on this computer or iPad. Download a backup to keep a copy or move it to another device.
